The Visayas Region of Philippines



The Visayas (Kabisay-an, Kabisayaan), is one of the three principal geographical divisions of the Philippines, along with Mindanao and Luzon. It consists of several islands. The major islands of the Visayas are Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar. There are three administrative regions in the Visayas:

REGION CENTER
  •     Western Visaya (Region VI) - Iloilo City
  •     Central Visayas (Region VII) - Cebu City
  •     Eastern Visayas (Region VIII) - Tacloban City
