Mindanao (Kamandinawan) is the second largest after Luzon and southernmost island in the Philippines and consists of some smaller surrounding islands.
Davao City is the largest city in Mindanao. The island group of Mindanao is an arbitrary grouping of islands in the Southern Philippines which encompasses six administrative regions.
